Assistant Professor in Theoretical Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 15, 2020.

The successful candidate will be expected to establish a prominent research program in theoretical chemistry and to teach theoretical, physical, and general chemistry courses.  A doctorate in chemistry or a related field is required.

 To ensure full consideration, complete applications, including a cover letter, curriculum vitae (including a publication list), concise statement of proposed research, teaching statement, three research papers, and three letters of recommendation should be received by November 1, 2019.  Applicants are encouraged to describe how they plan to contribute to diversity and inclusivity in their teaching and service duties, either as part of their teaching statement or in a separate diversity and inclusion document. Review of applications will begin on November 2, and will continue until the position is filled.
