Tenure Track Faculty Position in Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Mississippi located in Oxford, Mississippi, invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level open to any area of CHEMISTRY to begin in August 2020. The Department has 17 tenured and tenure-track faculty, 7 teaching faculty, and 60 graduate students. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and at least 2 years of postdoctoral experience in chemistry or a closely related field. Outstanding individuals with expertise complimenting active programs in the department and our recently acquired, state-of-the-art equipment (http://chemistry.olemiss.edu/facilities) are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to establish a nationally recognized, externally funded research program and demonstrate excellence in teaching.
