Analytical Chemistry / Instrumental Analysis Tenure Track Position
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Mississippi College seeks to fill a full-time, tenure-track position in Analytical Chemistry with a starting date of January or August 2020. The successful candidate will possess a completed Ph. D. prior to employment and exhibit excellence in teaching and research. Preference will be given to candidates with postdoctoral experience and/ or demonstrated experience mentoring undergraduate and Master’s students in a vigorous research program. Primary teaching responsibilities will include Analytical and Instrumental Analysis courses.
The ACS approved department offers the BS and MS degrees. To fulfill its mission of teaching and research, the department maintains instrumentation including FT-IR, GC-MS, Polarimeter, HPLC, UV-Vis and NMR.

Mississippi College is affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention and faculty must be of the Christian faith.
