The Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the tenure track, with rank commensurate with the experience of the candidate. Expertise is required in the area of biophysics, including computational approaches in biophysics and structural biology. We are particularly interested in investigators with greater than 5 years track record of outstanding independent accomplishments, consistent with an appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree.

Teaching responsibilities may include contributing to graduate and medical school education of the University.

Successful applicant will be highly creative, and must have demonstrated exceptional scholarly success in their field. Demonstration of sustained grant or equivalent support is required for appointments at a mid-career or senior rank.
