The Chemistry Department in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Organic Chemistry, broadly-defined, to begin August 2020. Applicants working in areas related to Chemical Biology and Biomaterials are of particular interest, especially those that can interface synergistically with an existing state-wide research thrust in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering (NH BioMADE). Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree; post-doctoral experience is preferred. Candidates will be evaluated on (i) their commitment to excel as a teacher and mentor at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and (ii) their potential to establish a vigorous, nationally-recognized research program that is both collaborative and multidisciplinary. UNH is a Carnegie R1 institution.
