Assistant Professor - Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Lafayette College is hiring a full-time, tenure track assistant professor position, starting July 2020. We seek an analytical chemist who will complement our current expertise with shared teaching duties in quantitative analysis and instrumental analysis. The individual will also contribute to courses in introductory chemistry. Depending on appropriate background, the individual may teach additional courses in physical or biological chemistry. The teaching load is 2/2 in the first year, and 3/2 thereafter. Successful candidates are expected to develop an active experimental research program involving undergraduate students especially in the areas noted above. A Ph.D. is required, and postdoctoral and teaching experience is preferred.
