The Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas Tech University invites highly qualified applicants for tenure-track or tenured positions at all levels.  While there is a preference for faculty with research interests in data science and machine learning, excellent candidates with research interests in translational bioengineering/medicine, nanotechnology/nanomaterials, and energy/sustainability will be considered.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, a track record of outstanding research, and a commitment to excellence in education, student mentoring, outreach and/or community engagement. Successful candidates will be expected to develop nationally and internationally recognized and externally funded research programs, develop departmental and multidisciplinary collaborations, teach core graduate and undergraduate courses in chemical engineering, develop new courses (including online courses), engage in strategic outreach and engaged scholarship, and perform internal and professional service at a level commensurate with rank.  We seek applicants that share our Whitacre College of Engineering vision of Excelling as a global leader in engineering education and research.
