The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech) seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering, beginning August 2020.  Preference will be given to candidates with a B.S. in chemical engineering.  All research areas in chemical and biochemical engineering will be considered.  Applicants should submit a CV, research plan indicating equipment needs, statement of teaching philosophy and interests, and list of 3 references as one pdf file.  The application should be sent to Ms. Rosa Jaramillo (nmtjobapps@npe.nmt.edu) and the search committee at cheme.dept@npe.nmt.edu.  Also questions can be sent to the search committee at cheme.dept@npe.nmt.edu.  Review of applications will begin November 1, 2019 and continue until the position is filled.  The Chemical Engineering program at New Mexico Tech is accredited by the engineering accreditation commission (EAC) of ABET.  Faculty in the department advise graduate students through the M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Materials Engineering.  New Mexico Tech is a science and engineering university composed of approximately 2000 undergraduate and graduate students located in Socorro, New Mexico.
