Visiting Lecturer in Chemistry

Job Description:

The Chemistry Department of Wellesley College invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer position in Chemistry and Biochemistry to begin in January 2020. The position will extend through the 2020-2021 academic year. Applicants should have a broad background in chemistry and strong teaching, writing, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include teaching lecture and laboratory sections of biochemistry and/or organic chemistry. Candidates may also be involved in the introductory chemistry curriculum.

Requirements: 

The successful applicant will have a strong background in chemistry and biochemistry and experience teaching undergraduates. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Ph.D. or equivalent degree by the time of appointment, although candidates who are ABD will be considered.
