Michigan Technological University invited applications and nominations for the position of Chair of the Department of Chemistry beginning Fall 2020. We seek an individual with the vision and skills to elevate the department’s research prominence, further our strong tradition of educational excellence, and grow our graduate programs. The chair will maintain a dynamic research program compatible with existing university strengths; foster collaborations with other departments, centers, and institutes; and advance the department’s position as a key player in the university research community. The successful candidate will have qualifications commensurate with appointment to the rank of Associate or Full Professor of Chemistry.
