Applications are invited for a fully funded Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF). The PDF will need to design and synthesize organic molecules to be applied into device applications.

This project is funded through the New Frontiers in Research Fund (Exploration stream) from the Tri-agency council. It is anticipated that the start date will be 1st November 2019 by the latest.

The work will be mainly conducted in the Koleilat Laboratory at Dalhousie University in close collaboration with the Chiu Research Group at Stony Brook University, NY, USA.

Eligibility

The project would be ideally suited to a PhD graduate with a synthetic organic chemistry background. Experience in characterization techniques (Chemical, optical, and electrical) is highly desirable. Hands-on experience in device fabrication (semiconductive such as solar cells and photodetectors) and their testing is highly desirable but not necessary.
