Clemson University: College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences: Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering
Assistant Professor - Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering

Location: Earle Hall - Clemson University

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Clemson University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment, which can be at any level commensurate with the candidate's experience and achievements. Individuals with outstanding potential and scholarly interests in all areas of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering are sought.

Clemson is an R-I land grant institution located in upstate South Carolina-a global university with a mission to serve the diverse communities of our state. In 2016 Clemson inaugurated Clemson Forward, a strategic plan to strengthen its research profile, diversity, and workplace quality of life. The English Department has taken a leading role in pursuing these goals by confronting legacies of political violence. For this reason, the search committee is especially interested to hear from candidates who bring the diverse perspectives that come from non-traditional educational backgrounds or an understanding of the experience of those under-represented in higher education.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, and those with industrial experience are encouraged to apply.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

To apply, please upload a cover letter highlighting relevant research, teaching, and service to-date, curriculum vitae, detailed research plan, statement of teaching philosophy and interests, and the names and contact information for at least three references to apply.interfolio.com/68964.

The anticipated start date is August 15, 2020. Applications received by October 31, 2019will receive full consideration, with the review process continuing until the position is filled.
