The College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona in Tucson invites application for a tenure-track position in the area of medicinal chemistry/chemical biology with an anticipated start date of July 2020. The position is expected to be filled at the Associate or Full Professor level with 12-month appointments. An endowed chair is available.

The successful candidate should have a strong track record of scholarly productivity and innovation, and significant expertise in medicinal chemistry and/or chemical biology. The candidate is expected to develop an internationally recognized program of scholarly research and to excel in teaching at pharmacy (Pharm.D.), graduate and undergraduate levels. Excellent opportunities exist for research collaborations within an active and dynamic community of basic and translational scientists in academic departments and centers across the University. The candidate will have membership in the Arizona Center for Drug Discovery in the College of Pharmacy. Progression of therapeutics to the market is encouraged and strongly supported by Tech Launch Arizona (https://techlaunch.arizona.edu).
