PRODUCTION MANAGER

FLAMMA HONKAI (Dalian, China)

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participating and providing ideas in the designation of a new factory for producing APIs and pharmaceutical intermediates
2. Following the whole construction of the buildings and the installation of the equipment to make sure that all the work is done in the right way
3. As the production manager of the new factory, planning and supervising all the production activities to make sure all the productions performed in the right way and finished on time, in a safe way;
4. Being responsible for coordinating with other departments of R&D, EHS, quality, purchasing and engineering to solve the problems in the production;
5. Cooperating with other related departments to improve the process and procedure in the production;
6. Determining and monitoring the resources such as staffing, equipment and utilities used in production to ensure all are in the right situation;
7. Reporting to the management through a structured reporting system, using KPIs.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

• MS in Chemistry and/or chemical engineering;
• 5+ years’ working experience as a production/workshop manager in pharmaceutical or fine chemical companies;
• Comprehensive knowledge in chemical equipment & engineering as well as safety and environmental issues;
• Good experience/knowledge in GMP production and 5S maintenance;
• The ability of speaking, writing and reading English is a must;
• Excellent teamwork and inter-personal skills, rigorous project management skills, highly proactive and takes initiative;
• Working Knowledge of Chinese language and culture is a plus;
• Ideally having strong knowledge in organic synthesis and process development is a plus.

Compensation:
