Elmhurst College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor starting August 2020 in the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry with background in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry, with research interests in synthesis.  Main teaching responsibilities include major’s level organic chemistry, advanced topics in organic chemistry, and IR and NMR.

Minimum Qualifications:

Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential as are research interests suitable for undergraduate student participation. Candidates should have a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body. A Ph.D. in Chemistry is required.
