Job Opening for Transmission Electron Microscopy/ Imaging Research Scientist. The Samuel Roberts Noble Microscopy Laboratory (http://www.microscopy.ou.edu) at the University of Oklahoma, Norman Campus (http://www.ou.edu) invites applications for a full-time Research Scientist. The successful applicant will join our team of scientists in an interdisciplinary multi-user microscopy laboratory to advance the research, teaching, and service missions of OU and the broader region. In particular, the candidate will operate, maintain, supervise and provide research-related training principally on transmission electron microscopy and related ancillary equipment in a core light/electron imaging facility.

 

We seek an individual with an M.S. (required) or Ph.D. (preferred) degree in a relevant technical discipline, previous experience with transmission electron microscopy, and excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.  A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with experience.
