ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY

Wichita State University (www.wichita.edu/chemistry) invites applicants with expertise in all areas of organic chemistry for a tenure-eligible position at the assistant professor level Successful candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous externally funded research program centered on organic chemistry and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and directing research involving undergraduate, MS, and PhD level students. Successful candidates will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in their area of expertise.  A PhD or equivalent degree in chemistry or related field, postdoctoral experience, a strong record of scholarly achievement and experience in working with diverse populations are required. A generous package of start-up funds, state of the art research facilities, and competitive salary are available.
