Job Details
CLARKSON UNIVERSITY. The Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Science invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start Fall 2020. Research expertise is sought in the broadly defined biomolecular sciences, including biochemistry, molecular biology, biomaterials, bioorganic, bioanalytical, bioinorganic, and computational biochemistries, and should complement that of current faculty and build on departmental strengths.
The successful candidate is expected to maintain a vigorous, creative, externally funded research program. Primary teaching responsibilities will depend on expertise and department needs, and will support the department’s undergraduate (B.S.), M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Chemistry and Biomolecular Science. Clarkson offers a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment, and opportunities for affiliations with various Clarkson research centers are abundant.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. and have outstanding research potential. Postdoctoral experience is highly preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until position is filled.
