$69,581 to $128,920 annually

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics seeks multiple chemists to join a creative, dynamic team of scientists supporting its regulatory and non-regulatory programs under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). These positions are located in the Industrial Chemistry Branch, whose mission is to evaluate commercial chemical and biological substances and communicate the results to scientific experts, EPA decision-makers, industry, and the public.

OPPT is seeking to fill organic and inorganic chemist positions, both of which require a strong background in these specialties. These positions do not involve laboratory work. They are full-time, permanent positions located at EPA Headquarters in the Federal Triangle Complex in downtown Washington, DC.  Any U.S. citizen may apply.  A college transcript is required.  To view the full vacancy announcement and apply online, visit www.usajobs.gov and search on announcement number R-OCSPP-OT-2020-0004.  These vacancies will close on November 18, 2019.  The U.S. EPA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
