Job Details
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a tenure-track position in inorganic chemistry. Individuals from all areas of inorganic chemistry are encouraged to apply including energy, bioinorganic and catalysis. The position will be filled at the Assistant Professor level and candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent; postdoctoral experience is highly desirable. Expectations for the successful candidate will include: excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, development of a nationally-recognized and externally-funded research program, and participation in departmental and university-wide governance. Complete applications must include a detailed CV, descriptions of research plans and teaching interests, teaching philosophy, anticipated start-up costs, and three letters of recommendation.
