Bioinformatic Scientist
looking for an experienced Bioinformatics Scientist who will play a pivotal role in establishing our learning platform aiding in the development of next-generation cancer therapies. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with a cross-functional team to create predictive models and analysis tools for data-driven design of genetic circuits. We are looking for someone comfortable with tackling a broad range of scientific problems of varying scope and complexity. You will work closely with and under the mentorship of our scientists to discover and develop novel drugs targeting for cancer. As talented bioinformatics scientist you will have a transversal role and interact closely with scientists from different fields. You will apply your existing technical skills and learn new skills.
Requirements
- Strong computational background
- Experience building bioinformatics pipelines and data analysis tools
- Significant experience in learning and algorithm development
- Experience working with large data sets: creating, curating and organizing training data, visualization, statistical analysis
- Understanding of basic software engineering concepts and practices
- Understanding of model validation and optimization
- Previous publications in bioinformatics related journals is desired
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to start a project from ground up
About You
- Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field such as bioinformatics, computational biology, genetics, etc.
- Familiarity with modern open source tools in data science workflow.
