Associate / Assistant Professor (PR0053/20-21)

Applicants should possess a PhD degree with postdoctoral training background in both chemistry and biomedicine research fields. Applicants with cross-disciplinary interests and rich research experience in novel therapeutic drug development are strongly encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must have demonstrated track record of outstanding research publications and strong external research funding. Overseas experience in world-class universities and good English communication skills are highly desirable. The appointee is expected to participate in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, which may include chemistry courses (e.g. basic chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and analytical chemistry) and biomedicine courses (e.g. immunology, microbiology and infectious diseases).

The appointment will be offered on a tenure track with initial appointment on three-year fixed-term contract. Re-appointments thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Tenured appointments are expected to be attained within six years.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
