The Chemistry Department of the U. S. Naval Academy invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2021. The search is open to all areas of chemistry. The successful applicant must be strongly committed to teaching at the undergraduate level and will be expected to teach general chemistry and upper level chemistry courses on a rotating basis. In addition, the candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a vigorous research program which includes supervision of undergraduate researchers. Candidates are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in chemistry or related field at the time of appointment.
