The Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science (https://www.cems.umn.edu) at the University of Minnesota seeks to fill one full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor (tenure-track), Associate Professor (tenured) or Professor (tenured) level.

Outstanding candidates with a Ph.D. in any area related to chemical engineering and materials science will be considered. Of particular priority are the areas of biological engineering, catalysis and reaction engineering, and electrochemistry/electrochemical engineering. Candidates should have a distinguished academic and research record and a commitment to teaching in a highly interdisciplinary department and contributing to its diversity and excellence.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out vigorous programs of original research at a world-class level, advise graduate students, teach a broad range of undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science (CEMS), and participate in Departmental and University governance.
