The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a faculty position in theoretical chemistry. We anticipate hiring at the rank of Assistant Professor, although exceptionally qualified candidates at higher ranks will be considered and are encouraged to apply. We seek candidates with research interests in all areas of theoretical chemistry, but especially biophysics, materials, and electronic structure theory. Candidates are asked to provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a detailed research plan, and a statement of teaching philosophy and interests.  Junior candidates should also arrange for the submission of at least three letters of recommendation; senior candidates are welcome to apply in confidence.  All materials should be submitted to the application website (https://apply.interfolio.com/78634).  Applications will be considered on a rolling basis upon receipt but should be received by November 15th, 2020 to receive full consideration.
