Assistant Professor – Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Lafayette College is hiring for a full-time, tenure track assistant professor position, starting July 2021. We seek an organic chemist who will complement our current expertise with shared teaching duties primarily in our organic chemistry sequence. The individual will also contribute to courses in introductory chemistry and the Common Course of Study. The teaching load is 2/2 in the first year, and 3/2 thereafter. Successful candidates are expected to develop an active experimental research program involving undergraduate students. A Ph.D. degree is required, and postdoctoral and teaching experience is preferred. Additional information about the position and the Department of Chemistry is found on the Department website.
