Tenure Track Faculty Position in Analytical/Instrumental Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position in Chemistry, starting on August 16, 2021. A Ph.D. in Chemistry is required, and candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching and research at the undergraduate level. Responsibilities will include teaching lecture and lab courses in analytical chemistry, chemical instrumentation, and general chemistry. Prior teaching experience and postdoctoral research experience are preferred. Areas of expertise may include environmental chemistry, nanotechnology, electrochemistry, energy storage, bioanalytical chemistry, and other emerging technologies.
