Sr. GLP Residue Study Director/Sr. Scientist

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Sr. GLP Residue Study Director/Sr. Scientist, are to:

Serve as GLP Study Director for a variety of field studies in support of North America and global projects when needed;

Develop study protocols that meet technical, project and regulatory objectives;

Assure and that all GLP regulations are communicated to study participants and are strictly observed;

Assure studies meet all required deadlines and budget estimates;

Evaluate the field and analytical data and prepare final study reports, taking responsibility for accuracy, compliance and robust scientific interpretation;

Maintain well organized supporting data files suitable for internal and external (regulatory) auditing;

Support the planning and implementation of the Field Residue Program including within forecasting processes (e.g, LUMOS);

Use of electronic data tools for the forecasting of test substances, study planning and initiation, data collection and report preparation;

Support the management of business relationships with external (non-BCS) contractor community in the performance of field residue trials, sample processing, and sample analysis, including the management of the bidding and contract awarding processes;

Monitor and evaluate the performance of external partners;

Plan and direct the work of one or more contributing scientists/technicians/report writers performing a variety of complex tasks;

Provide guidance and support to other Study Directors sharing in the responsibility for successful completion of the entire program.

Required Qualifications:

Ph.D. with at least four years of relevant experience or Master of Science with at least eight years of relevant experience or Bachelor of Science with at least 10 years of relevant experience in field residue studies or related fields;

Dedication to generation and interpretation of high-quality data and strict compliance with all relevant regulations;

Conducts multiple, complex scientific projects and can prioritize tasks in a frequently changing environment;

Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Recognized strategic thinking and problem-solving skills;

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment leading to constructive interactions.
