Academic Coordinator – X-Ray Crystallographer – University of California, Riverside
The Analytical Chemistry Instrumentation Facility (ACIF) invites applications for a career level Academic Coordinator position in Small Molecule X-Ray Crystallography. This full-time Academic Coordinator will have the responsibility for the supervision, maintenance and operation of the X-Ray Crystallography Resources within the Facility. The Academic Coordinator will provide leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Facility. The Academic Coordinator must be an expert in the field of X-Ray Crystallography, with working knowledge of hardware and software for structure determination, various crystallization procedures, and stay informed of the most recent advances in the field of X-Ray Crystallography and its applications. It is the duty of the Academic Coordinator to ensure smooth operation of all aspects of the Facility to enable high quality, timely, and affordable analyses for all researchers.
A PhD in chemistry and demonstrated excellence in teaching and laboratory management is required.
