The Department of Chemistry at Bowling Green State University invites applications for a full-time, one-year, non-tenure-track Assistant Teaching Professor position to start August 2021.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach effectively at the undergraduate level in the general chemistry and the health sciences chemistry (GOB chemistry) sequences with the potential to also teach a biochemistry lecture and/or lab.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a closely related discipline. Record of effective teaching (e.g., positive teaching evaluations) at the undergraduate level. ABD will be considered as long as the requirements for the degree are completed by August 2021.

Preferred Qualifications: Established background of effective teaching at the college level as an instructor of record and experience with remote (online) delivery. A research background (e.g., dissertation work) in an experimental area of biochemistry is also preferred.
