The Laboratory of Neuroimaging (LNI) directed by Dr. Nora Volkow is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in the radiochemistry and chemistry section stationed in Bethesda, MD. The research goal of this position is neuroimaging probe development and its biological/medical application related to brain addiction. In particular, the main research activity is expected to focus on design and synthesis of in vivo radiotracers and preclinical application.
Qualifications:This position requires a Ph.D. degree, ideally in organic and medicinal chemistry or equivalent areas. Candidates who have less than 5 years of postdoctoral experience are eligible for this program. Experience in areas such as radiosynthesis, bioassay, and computational drug design, is desirable but not required. The position is open to both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens.
