The School of Science (SoS) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Analytical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, starting August 2021. The initial appointment of this position will be for three years, and is renewable contingent upon satisfactory performance, enrollment and funding.

The Lecturer is responsible for teaching undergraduate Chemistry laboratory and lecture courses in Analytical chemistry at the sophomore-senior levels. Additionally, ability to teach undergraduate physical chemistry lectures is desirable. The duties associated with this position include grading and organizational responsibilities for the lecture courses.

At minimum, candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. (or foreign degree equivalent) in Chemistry and must provide evidence of effectiveness in teaching Analytical chemistry lecture and laboratory courses.
