The Department of Medicinal and Biological Chemistry of the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy
and Pharmaceutical Sciences has an opening for a full-time Research Assistant Professor. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry or a related field or a Pharm.D. Expertise in medicinal chemistry and drug design is important. The ability to instruct clearly in both written and spoken English is a requirement.
The successful applicant will contribute to high-impact teaching in the college’s B.S. in Pharmaceutical
Sciences, M.S. and Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharm.D. programs starting in the fall semester 2021. A portion of effort will be to produce scholarship in education or research that complements and expands existing expertise in the department. Opportunities for research collaboration with faculty will be available. The successful candidate should have an enthusiasm for teaching, strong organization and communication skills, and a commitment to working with and supporting a diverse group of individuals from all academic levels. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a one-year position, with the option of reappointment upon mutual agreement.
