Successful applicants will be expected to pursue an active research program with undergraduate students focused on organic chemistry, contribute to all levels of the chemistry curriculum, and add new advanced courses in their area(s) of expertise. The courses the successful candidate would be able to teach include introductory chemistry, second-year organic chemistry, societal relevance of chemistry, and junior-level integrative laboratories ("Superlab"). Ability and interest in contributing to other College programs and interdisciplinary initiatives in health studies, biochemistry/biophysics, neuroscience, environmental studies, visual studies, scientific computing or other areas will be viewed positively.
