The Department of Chemistry at Rutgers University-Newark invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in the area of Inorganic Chemistry to start September 2022. Applicants with research directions in all areas of Inorganic Chemistry, including but not limited to those at the interface to catalysis, polymers and materials, bioinorganic, or data science are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded research program and to teach inorganic chemistry courses at both undergraduate and graduate (Ph.D. and M.S.) levels. Competitive start-up funds commensurate with the needs of the specific area will be provided. A Ph.D. in chemistry, at least two years of postdoctoral experience and an outstanding record of research accomplishments are required.
