The Postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for characterization of nanomaterials, e.g. inorganic and /or polymeric components, bioconjugation, and particle characterization. The ideal candidate will have experience with the development of nanoparticles in multiple shapes and sizes.

The Post Doc will work with existing laboratory members in the tracking of biodistribution and tumor specific accumulation of the nanomaterials in vivo using optoacoustic (photoacoustic) and fluorescent imaging. The Post Doc will work within our multi-disciplinary team to evaluate toxicity, drug/dye release, and efficacy using both in vitro and in vivo experimentation in murine, swine, and human of solid tumors. Other responsibilities will include communicating results to the scientific community through publications and presentations, and supervising graduate students, clinical residents, and laboratory technicians.
