Faculty Position in Chemistry
Virginia Tech

 

The Department of Chemistry at Virginia Tech invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in organic chemistry, broadly defined, with expertise in synthetic methodology, chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, catalysis, and/or natural product synthesis, with an intended start date of Fall 2022.  The candidate will be encouraged to participate in the Virginia Tech Center for Drug Discovery (https://www.vtcdd.science.vt.edu).

A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field is required; the degree is required at the time of appointment. The successful candidate must establish an internationally recognized research program and be an effective teacher in graduate and undergraduate courses. We welcome applications from diverse, underrepresented candidates.
