ADJUNCT LAB INSTRUCTOR, DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRY
(part-time faculty, non-tenure track)
Samford University’s Howard College of Arts and Sciences invites individuals interested in serving in a Christian University environment to apply for the position of adjunct lab instructor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. This is a part-time, non- tenure-track appointment and will begin in January 2022.
The initial appointment will be for the spring semester with the potential for full-time Lecturer position in Fall 2022.
Qualified candidates should hold an earned doctorate (Ph.D. in chemistry; ABD accepted) with some teaching experience at the college or high school (college-prep) level. Responsibilities will include teaching lower-level laboratory courses.
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry has eight full-time faculty members and approximately 35 majors.
