The Medicines for All Institute (M4ALL) based at Virginia Commonwealth University seeks a Director of Research to strategically lead the development and execution of high quality, responsive, and timely research initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will serve as a mission driven leader through delivering scientific excellence in line with the strategic vision and organization strategy. 

At M4ALL, we combine academic ingenuity and industry practicality to improve access to safe, effective, and affordable medicines. Founded in 2017 with significant funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, M4ALL optimizes active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production and provides access to manufacturers around the world to enhance the security of medicine supply chains. M4ALL’s manufacturing optimization process has the potential to significantly impact the pharmaceutical supply chain and we are looking for a trusted advisor to lead our research efforts.
