Job Details

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track position from individuals with research interests in analytical science and engineering (AS&E). We anticipate hiring at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, although exceptionally qualified candidates at all ranks will be considered and are strongly encouraged to apply.  The successful candidate will lead a research program emphasizing the application of chemical engineering principles to address forefront problems in (bio)chemical measurement science. The environment for AS&E at Notre Dame is enriched by cross-disciplinary programs including the Institute for Precision Health and the Center for Bioanalytic Metrology. Candidates are asked to provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, detailed research plan, a statement of teaching philosophy and interests, and a statement summarizing their plans and commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive scientific environment. Junior candidates should arrange for the submission of at least three letters of recommendation; senior candidates are welcome to apply in confidence. All materials should be submitted to the application website at .
