The Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC) at EPFL invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor in chemistry to the study and manipulation of biological systems.

We seek candidates with an outstanding research record, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and who will be proactive members of the chemical biology community.

As a faculty member of the School of Basic Sciences, the successful candidate is expected to initiate and develop a creative research and teaching program at the forefront of the discipline.

Significant start-up resources, research budget (including a fixed annual budget for salaries and consumables) and state-of-the-art research infrastructure are available. Salaries and benefits are internationally competitive. We offer a highly international environment that is multi-lingual and multi-cultural.
