The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry (http://www.chem.sc.edu/) in the College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position in ANALYTICAL Chemistry to begin August 16, 2022.  All areas of Analytical Chemistry expertise are of interest, including (but not limited to) bioanalytical, electrochemical, environmental, forensics, materials characterization, remote/non-contact sensing, instrument development, chemometrics, spectroscopy, and planetary science.  Candidates are expected to establish a vigorous, externally supported research program and have a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or closely related field by the start date of employment.
