The Department of Chemistry at the George Washington University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure accruing special service Teaching Assistant Professor in Organic Chemistry beginning in Fall 2022. The initial appointment will be for three years and may be renewed pending satisfactory performance. The successful candidate is expected (over the course of an academic year) to supervise the instructional Organic Chemistry labs, teach two lecture sections of Organic Chemistry, one lecture section of General Chemistry, one lecture section of Medicinal Chemistry for non-science majors, and hold weekly office hours.
Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Doctoral degree in Chemistry or a related field by the date of appointment.
