The Department of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for three faculty positions in all areas of chemistry. Areas of particular interest include analytical, inorganic, and biological chemistry, and we expect to make two appointments at the tenure-track assistant professor level and one appointment at the tenured associate professor level. In the cover letter, applicants should specify which chemistry subfield or combination thereof best represents the applicant’s research area. We seek candidates who will establish a vigorous independent research program and excel in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
