Scripps Research is conducting a faculty search for two tenure-track Assistant Professors to be located on the La Jolla, CA campus.  The area of research is open but should fit within the broad scope of research in chemical and biological sciences at Scripps.

Scripps Research — one of the world's largest, private, non-profit research organizations — is at the forefront of basic biomedical science, with faculty undertaking medical research that seeks to comprehend the most fundamental processes of life. Scripps has a vibrant Ph.D. program that is ranked in the top 10 in chemical and biological sciences and boasts a collegial and collaborative environment, where faculty, students and postdoctoral fellows can freely interact across campuses and disciplines to form synergy in emerging areas of research.

Anticipated start date will be Fall 2022.

Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., D.V.M., or equivalent in a relevant discipline, and an outstanding record of research that demonstrates originality in addressing significant questions. Successful candidates will be expected to establish an active research group, be an interactive member of the faculty, and participate in interdisciplinary research and training.
