The Department of Chemistry at San José State University invites applications for a tenure track position in biochemistry. Excellence in research and teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level is expected. The candidate will be teaching courses, including laboratory courses, in biochemistry (130A/B/C, 131A/B, 132, 135 and graduate courses). Flexibility to teach in other sub-disciplines of chemistry is desirable. The candidate must be able to adapt their teaching methods to a variety of learning environments, including online instruction. The successful candidate will develop a robust research program engaging undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) students
