Assistant Professor in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology State University of New York at Binghamton
The Chemistry Department at the State University of New York at Binghamton anticipates one tenure-track faculty opening in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates with research interests in the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: Mechanistic, structural, computational biochemistry and chemical biology and/or imaging applications. The successful applicant will develop an externally funded research program as a faculty member of the new graduate program in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology (BCCB) at Binghamton University. The Chemistry department is housed in the Smart Energy Building, a state-of-the-art research facility with access to core facilities serving the community of scientists who work at the Chemistry/Biology interface. Potential candidates should have a Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemical biology or a related field with a proven track record of publication.
