The Department of Chemistry at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in all areas of Analytical Chemistry including (but not limited to) bioanalytical, environmental, electrochemical, materials characterization, and spectroscopy to begin in August, 2022.

An applicant must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in Chemistry with a proven record of research accomplishments. The successful candidate is expected to have a commitment to excellence in teaching analytical chemistry and related courses at all levels, and develop a strong, innovative, and externally funded research program.

Unique opportunities are available for the faculty to align with the multi-disciplinary, multi-investigator research centers and programs at Missouri S&T, particularly the Center for Research in Energy and the Environment, the Center for Biomedical Research, the Materials Research Center, and the newly formed Kummer Institute (established through a $300 million gift to cultivate the innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development).
