The DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL & BIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING at the UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN－MADISON invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related discipline. The department seeks applicants with research interests in areas of strategic importance to the future of chemical engineering related to the development of next-generation energy storage technologies (e.g., batteries), including efforts in materials synthesis, kinetic and transport modeling, and operando characterization of interfacial dynamics in energy storage systems.  Successful candidates are expected to create world-class research programs, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and engage in professional service.
