Job Description
The Department of Chemistry at Idaho State University invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Lecturer beginning August 15, 2022. The candidate should possess a M.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry. The successful candidate will have primary teaching responsibility in non-major chemistry courses and secondary teaching responsibility in general chemistry and/or courses in the candidate’s field of expertise. The position is located on our Idaho Falls campus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Workload - 90% teaching and 10% service
  • Teaching - non-major chemistry (CHEM 11XX level), general chemistry, and/or courses in the candidate’s field of expertise, including laboratory courses

Minimum Qualifications

  • M.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Teaching experience at a university level
